workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Structural Kicker Brace Westlake Village - Keep away from Construction Contractor Scams Construction contractors really are a dime twelve and can create your life much simpler when you need work done in your home or you're trying to build a new residence. Obviously, with many different options can come a lot of scam artists looking to help you be part with your hard earned money. After all, how could you really trust someone you've never worked with? The actual catch here is that you can't! The only method that one could ensure you won't get scammed is always to research your options and avoid indications of a gimmick that the contractor may exhibit. We've taken enough time to compile among the most common techniques that homeowners have gotten scammed before with hopes that you just won't increase the numbers! 1. You should always become the anyone to approach a construction contractor and do not the other way around. Some so-called contractors try to scam homeowners by going door-to-door in hopes of finding a new victim. Never engage a contractor that performs this, and more importantly, don't let yourself get pressured into creating a quick decision. Not forgetting, most scam artists only accepts upfront cash payments, which is all the more reason to prevent them! 2. It's your career to determine when the contractor in question has something to hide. You are able to take the initial step by asking him for a couple references that you can contact yourself. It's important that you know the work habits of the construction contractor, so take the time to visit job sites to acquire a sense of his work ethics. Remember, a sincere contractor with absolutely nothing to hide may have no problems coming up with references or helping you to check out among his many job sites. 3. Ensure that the contractor carries a physical office plus a contact address in your area. In case the contractor has no office and everything you can use for contact purposes is a P.O. box, it could be an indication of someone trying to scam you. Choosing someone local doesn't just mean you may save more money, but that exist in touch with the contractor directly. 4. Get knowledgeable about the rules for licensing contractors in the area. All states have different groups of rules, however, if a contractor you're hoping to do business with has no insurance and isn't licensed in your state, never under any circumstances hire them. It might make your search a lttle bit harder, but it really can prevent you from getting scammed from the start. By no means is it simple to find a truthful construction contractor in virtually any area. Sure, a simple search on Google will yield dozens of leads to your city, but it really doesn't always mean all the contractors could have your greatest interests at heart. After the time, you need to be the smart one and discover when the contractor is telling the truth and if you can depend on them.
