Are you looking for a contractor with quality
workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Handyman Carpentry Services Westlake Village - Contractor Hiring Tips: 10 Ways To Complete The Job When you need a contractor, you wish to make sure you hire the most effective person or team for the job. This isn't easy, as the situation can rapidly be more complicated than you anticipated. The subsequent 10 tips will help you create the right decisions: 1. Search For Locals Whenever you can find a local contractor who has been around in business for a few years, do so. Someone using a local background and reputation is much easier to look into and far prone to be 100% reliable. 2. Make Sure They're Licensed And Insured Don't just take someone's word for this: Check out their paperwork yourself and when you hire them, make copies in their important documents. Should anything happen during construction, you're gonna have to protect yourself plus your property. 3. Don't Hire People You're Not Comfortable Around Because you'll work so closely together with the team, perhaps even for the extended length of time, you need to make sure you and your family members feel relaxed around them. Trust your instincts, along with the good reputation you've investigated ahead of the job even starts. 4. Ask To View Previous Work It's always a smart idea to inspect the earlier work associated with a construction professional, to make sure you approve from the quality and it's stood the exam of energy. 5. Ask To Talk To Previous Clients While you're looking at past jobs, go on and talk to the people the job was offered to ask if the crew showed on time, stuck to the estimates and completed high-quality work. 6. Seek Out Specialists For The Particular Job(s) If you're obtaining your bathroom remodeled, you don't genuinely wish to hire a landscaper to do it. Employ a professional who concentrates on the actual job you're looking to did. 7. Ask Different Contractors For Estimates As you may hunt for your ideal contractor, request rough estimates. Though they won't quote you exact figures, you'll obtain a good notion of what you're in for. 8. Get Every Piece Of Information Hammered In A Binding Agreement After you've hired your team, just before they start work, have the details of the position explained in a written and legally binding contract. 9. Determine If They Guarantee Their Work Prior to signing around the dotted line, make them include info on what sort of guarantee they supply for your work they're gonna do. Make sure it covers every one of the specifics that pertain to your needs. 10. Know What's Expected Of Yourself A construction team should operate in and round the home when it's empty, for instance, or they could expect anyone to have furniture moved out from certain rooms before they arrive. Find out about these little things, to prevent future surprises and also to understand everything that your team is going to take good care of. The group you hire to mend or modify your home must be high quality in many ways. You would like to trust their ability to do a high-quality job and you should know you're getting associated with the proper forms of people. These 10 tips will help you hire the most effective contractor for your jobs you might have waiting.
