Are you looking for a contractor with quality
workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Trellis International Ventura - Contractor Hiring Tips: 10 Approaches To Complete The Job When you really need a contractor, you need to be sure you hire the very best person or team for the task. This isn't easy, since the situation can quickly become a little more complicated than you anticipated. These 10 tips may help you make the right decisions: 1. Search For Locals If you can find a local contractor who has been around business for a long time, do so. Someone having a local background and reputation is easier to look into and far very likely to be 100% reliable. 2. Ensure They're Licensed And Insured Don't simply take someone's word for this: Look into their paperwork yourself and if you hire them, make copies of the important documents. Should anything happen during construction, you're gonna need to protect yourself as well as your property. 3. Don't Hire People You're Not Comfortable Around Because you'll be working so closely together with the team, perhaps even on an extended time period, you want to actually and your loved ones members feel at ease around them. Believe in instincts, along with the good reputation you've investigated ahead of the job even starts. 4. Ask To Discover Previous Work It's always a smart idea to inspect the earlier work for any construction professional, to make sure you approve in the quality and it's stood the test of energy. 5. Ask To Speak With Previous Clients While you're looking into past jobs, go on and talk to those the work was offered to ask if the crew showed up on time, stuck for the estimates and completed high-quality work. 6. Search For Specialists For The Particular Job(s) If you're having your bathroom remodeled, you don't actually want to employ a landscaper to make it happen. Employ a professional who focuses on the precise job you're trying to have performed. 7. Ask Different Contractors For Estimates While you search for your ideal contractor, ask for rough estimates. Although they won't quote you exact figures, you'll get a full notion of what you're set for. 8. Get Every Detail Hammered In A Binding Agreement After you've hired your team, before they start work, have all the specifics of the work spelled out in the written and legally binding contract. 9. Determine If They Guarantee Their Work Before you sign about the dotted line, make them include specifics of which kind of guarantee they give for the work they're gonna do. Be sure it covers each of the specifics that apply to your situation. 10. Know What's Expected Of Yourself A construction team may need to operate in and around the home when it's empty, for example, or they might expect you to have furniture moved away from certain rooms before they arrive. Find out about these small things, to avoid future surprises as well as understand everything that your team will take good care of. They you hire to mend or modify your property must be high quality in many ways. You wish to trust remarkable ability to perform a high-quality job and you have to know you're getting associated with the right sorts of people. These 10 tips will allow you to hire the most effective contractor for your jobs you may have waiting.
