Are you looking for a contractor with quality
workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Vinyl Siding Popularity Thousand Oaks - Contractor Hiring Tips: 10 Ways To Get The Job Done If you want a contractor, you want to make sure you hire the most effective person or team to do the job. This isn't always easy, since the situation can quickly be a little more complicated than you anticipated. The following 10 tips can help you create the right decisions: 1. Search For Locals When you can look for a local contractor who has been around business for a few years, do this. Someone having a local history and reputation is easier to investigate and far more likely to be 100% reliable. 2. Make Sure They're Licensed And Insured Don't take someone's word for it: Take a look at their paperwork yourself of course, if you hire them, make copies with their important documents. Should anything happen during construction, you're likely to have to protect yourself as well as your property. 3. Don't Hire People You're Not Comfortable Around Because you'll be working so closely together with the team, possibly even on an extended time period, you need to successfully and your loved ones members feel safe around them. Have confidence in instincts, and the good reputation you've investigated just before the job even starts. 4. Ask To See Previous Work It's always a great idea to inspect the previous work associated with a construction professional, to make sure you approve of your quality and it's stood the test of energy. 5. Ask To Talk With Previous Clients While you're looking into past jobs, just talk to the people the task was given to find out if the crew showed on time, stuck for the estimates and completed high-quality work. 6. Search For Specialists For Your Personal Particular Job(s) If you're owning your bathroom remodeled, you don't really want to work with a landscaper to make it happen. Hire a professional who is an expert in the exact job you're seeking to have performed. 7. Ask Different Contractors For Estimates While you seek out your ideal contractor, demand rough estimates. While they won't quote you exact figures, you'll obtain a good idea of what you're in for. 8. Get Every Piece Of Information Hammered Outside In A Legal Contract After you've hired your team, but before they start work, supply the details of the position spelled out inside a written and legally binding contract. 9. Find Out If They Guarantee Their Work Prior to signing on the dotted line, ask them to include info about which kind of guarantee they supply for that work they're likely to do. Ensure it covers each of the specifics that pertain to your position. 10. Know What's Expected Of You A construction team should operate in and round the home when it's empty, as an example, or they might expect you to definitely have furniture moved out from certain rooms before they arrive. Inquire about these small things, to avoid future surprises and also to understand anything that your team is going to take proper care of. The team you hire to correct or modify your house must be high quality in a number of ways. You would like to trust their ability to carry out a high-quality job and you must know you're getting associated with the correct forms of people. These 10 tips will help you hire the very best contractor for the jobs you might have waiting.
