Are you looking for a contractor with quality
workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Diy Patio Covers Thousand Oaks - Contractor Hiring Tips: 10 Methods To Get The Job Done If you want a contractor, you need to make sure you hire the most effective person or team for the task. This isn't always easy, since the situation can easily be a little more complicated than you ever anticipated. The following 10 tips will help you make the right decisions: 1. Seek Out Locals When you can find a local contractor who has been doing business for a few years, do so. Someone having a local background and reputation is simpler to investigate and far more prone to be 100% reliable. 2. Make Certain They're Licensed And Insured Don't you need to take someone's word for it: Have a look at their paperwork yourself and in case you hire them, make copies in their important documents. Should anything happen during construction, you're gonna must protect yourself plus your property. 3. Don't Hire People You're Not Comfortable Around Because you'll work so closely using the team, maybe even to have an extended length of time, you desire to ensure that you and your family members feel comfortable around them. Have confidence in instincts, as well as the good reputation you've investigated just before the job even starts. 4. Ask To Find Out Previous Work It's always a great idea to inspect the prior work for any construction professional, to ensure you approve in the quality and it's stood the test of time. 5. Ask To Talk With Previous Clients While you're thinking about past jobs, proceed to talk to people the task was presented to inquire if the crew showed through to time, stuck to the estimates and completed high-quality work. 6. Seek Out Specialists For Your Personal Particular Job(s) If you're having your bathroom remodeled, you don't genuinely wish to hire a landscaper to get it done. Engage a professional who specializes in the actual job you're looking to did. 7. Ask Different Contractors For Estimates As you look for your ideal contractor, request rough estimates. Though they won't quote you exact figures, you'll get a full thought of what you're set for. 8. Get All The Information Hammered Outside In A Legal Contract After you've hired your team, just before they begin work, supply the details of the work spelled out inside a written and legally binding contract. 9. Check If They Guarantee Their Work Prior to signing on the dotted line, ask them to include information regarding what type of guarantee they offer for the work they're likely to do. Make sure it covers all of the specifics that pertain to your circumstances. 10. Know What's Expected Individuals A construction team should work in and round the home when it's empty, for instance, or they may expect one to have furniture moved out of certain rooms before they arrive. Find out about these little things, to avoid future surprises as well as to understand anything that your team will take good care of. The group you hire to correct or modify your own home needs to be high quality in several ways. You want to trust remarkable ability to do a high-quality job and you have to know you're getting involved with the best types of people. These 10 tips can help you hire the very best contractor for that jobs you possess waiting.
