Are you looking for a contractor with quality
workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Structural Kicker Brace Oxnard - Contractor Hiring Tips: 10 Ways To Get The Job Done When you want a contractor, you want to be sure you hire the best person or team to do the job. This isn't always easy, as the situation can easily be more complicated than you anticipated. The next 10 tips can help you make your right decisions: 1. Seek Out Locals When you can look for a local contractor who has been in business for a few years, do it. Someone using a local past and reputation is easier to look into and far more prone to be 100% reliable. 2. Ensure They're Licensed And Insured Don't simply take someone's word for this: Take a look at their paperwork yourself and if you hire them, make copies of their important documents. Should anything happen during construction, you're going to must protect yourself as well as your property. 3. Don't Hire People You're Not Comfortable Around Because you'll work so closely with all the team, perhaps even on an extended time period, you would like to make sure you and your loved ones members feel relaxed around them. Trust your instincts, and the good reputation you've investigated before the job even starts. 4. Ask To View Previous Work It's always a great idea to inspect the earlier work of any construction professional, to make sure you approve from the quality and it's stood the test of your energy. 5. Ask To Talk To Previous Clients While you're looking at past jobs, proceed to talk to the people the task was given to ask if the crew showed high on time, stuck for the estimates and completed high-quality work. 6. Look For Specialists For The Particular Job(s) If you're owning your bathroom remodeled, you don't really need to work with a landscaper to do it. Engage a professional who is an expert in the specific job you're planning to have performed. 7. Ask Different Contractors For Estimates While you look for your ideal contractor, require rough estimates. Although they won't quote you exact figures, you'll get a better notion of what you're in for. 8. Get All The Details Hammered Outside In A Legal Contract After you've hired your team, but before they start work, have the specifics of the work spelled out within a written and legally binding contract. 9. Check If They Guarantee Their Work Prior to signing about the dotted line, make them include info on what type of guarantee they offer to the work they're planning to do. Make sure it covers all the specifics that affect your position. 10. Know What's Expected Of Yourself A construction team should operate in and around the home when it's empty, for instance, or they can expect you to definitely have furniture moved from certain rooms before they arrive. Ask about these little things, in order to avoid future surprises as well as to understand precisely what your team is going to take good care of. The team you hire to correct or modify your home needs to be top-notch in many ways. You need to trust their ability to carry out a high-quality job and you need to know you're getting linked to the proper types of people. These 10 tips will allow you to hire the best contractor for the jobs you might have waiting.
