Are you looking for a contractor with quality
workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Handyman Remodel Oxnard - Contractor Hiring Tips: 10 Methods To Complete The Job When you need a contractor, you wish to make sure you hire the most effective person or team for the job. This isn't always easy, since the situation can quickly be more complicated than you ever anticipated. The following 10 tips will help you make the right decisions: 1. Search For Locals When you can get a local contractor who has been in business for a long time, do this. Someone by using a local history and reputation is a lot easier to investigate and far very likely to be 100% reliable. 2. Be Sure They're Licensed And Insured Don't just take someone's word because of it: Check out their paperwork yourself and when you hire them, make copies of their important documents. Should anything happen during construction, you're planning to have to protect yourself and your property. 3. Don't Hire People You're Not Comfortable Around Because you'll work so closely with the team, perhaps even for an extended length of time, you would like to successfully and your family members feel safe around them. Trust your instincts, as well as the good reputation you've investigated prior to the job even starts. 4. Ask To Find Out Previous Work It's always a great idea to inspect the previous work for any construction professional, to make sure you approve of your quality and it's stood the exam of your time. 5. Ask To Talk To Previous Clients While you're considering past jobs, go ahead and talk to the people the job was presented to ask if the crew showed up on time, stuck to the estimates and completed high-quality work. 6. Look For Specialists For Your Personal Particular Job(s) If you're owning your bathroom remodeled, you don't really want to hire a landscaper to get it done. Engage a professional who focuses on the exact job you're trying to did. 7. Ask Different Contractors For Estimates While you hunt for your ideal contractor, request rough estimates. Though they won't quote you exact figures, you'll obtain a good concept of what you're in for. 8. Get All The Details Hammered In A Binding Agreement After you've hired your team, just before they start work, have all the details of the work spelled out in the written and legally binding contract. 9. Find Out If They Guarantee Their Work Before you sign in the dotted line, make them include info about which kind of guarantee they give for your work they're gonna do. Make certain it covers each of the specifics that affect your position. 10. Know What's Expected People A construction team might need to operate in and round the home when it's empty, for instance, or they might expect you to have furniture moved out of certain rooms before they arrive. Enquire about these small things, to prevent future surprises as well as to understand precisely what your team is going to take proper care of. They you hire to repair or modify your property must be top-notch in a number of ways. You need to trust their ability to do a high-quality job and you need to know you're getting associated with the correct kinds of people. These 10 tips can help you hire the ideal contractor for your jobs you may have waiting.
