workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Trellis Glassdoor Malibu - Keep away from Construction Contractor Scams Construction contractors really are a dime 12 and might help make your life far more easy if you want work done on your own home or you're trying to develop a new residence. Obviously, with lots of options comes significant amounts of scam artists looking to help you become part with your hard earned dollars. In the end, how will you really trust someone you've never worked with? The genuine catch here is that you simply can't! The only method you could make certain you won't get scammed is usually to do your homework and avoid the signs of a scam that a contractor may exhibit. We've taken time to compile some of the most common ways in which homeowners have gotten scammed in past times with hopes that you simply won't increase the numbers! 1. It is wise to end up being the one to approach a construction contractor and not the other way around. Some so-called contractors make an effort to scam homeowners by going door-to-door hoping choosing a new victim. Never employ a contractor that accomplishes this, and even more importantly, don't let yourself get pressured into building a quick decision. Not to mention, most scam artists only accepts upfront cash payments, that is even more reason to avoid them! 2. It's your task to find out in the event the contractor under consideration has everything to hide. You can take the first step by asking him for several references that you could contact yourself. It's essential that you be aware of work habits of a construction contractor, so make time to visit job sites to have a sense of his work ethics. Remember, a truthful contractor with nothing to hide may have no problems creating references or allowing you to take a look at among his many job sites. 3. Make sure the contractor has a physical office as well as a contact address in the area. When the contractor has no office and everything you can use for contact purposes is a P.O. box, it could be an indication of someone attempting to scam you. Choosing someone local doesn't just mean you will spend less money, but that you can get in contact with the contractor personally. 4. Get accustomed to the laws and regulations for licensing contractors in your area. All states have different sets of rules, however, if a contractor you're hoping to work with has no insurance and isn't licensed where you live, never under any circumstances hire them. It could make your search a bit harder, but it really can keep you from getting scammed from the start. By no means could it be easy to find a genuine construction contractor in every area. Sure, a basic explore Google will yield dozens of results in your city, but it doesn't always mean every one of the contractors may have the best interests at heart. At the end of the time, you ought to be the smart one and figure out in case the contractor is telling the reality and whether or not you can rely on them.
