Are you looking for a contractor with quality
workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Insulated Aluminum Patio Covers Malibu - Contractor Hiring Tips: 10 Methods To Do The Job When you need a contractor, you would like to ensure you hire the very best person or team for the task. This isn't easy, as the situation can quickly be a little more complicated than you ever anticipated. The subsequent 10 tips can help you create the right decisions: 1. Look For Locals Whenever you can find a local contractor who has been around in business for a long time, achieve this. Someone having a local history and reputation is much easier to look into and far prone to be 100% reliable. 2. Make Certain They're Licensed And Insured Don't just take someone's word for it: Have a look at their paperwork yourself and when you hire them, make copies with their important documents. Should anything happen during construction, you're gonna have to protect yourself plus your property. 3. Don't Hire People You're Not Comfortable Around Because you'll be working so closely with all the team, perhaps even for the extended time frame, you want to make sure you and your family members feel comfortable around them. Have confidence in instincts, along with the good reputation you've investigated just before the job even starts. 4. Ask To See Previous Work It's always a great idea to inspect the prior work associated with a construction professional, to make sure you approve from the quality and it's stood the exam of your energy. 5. Ask To Speak With Previous Clients While you're thinking about past jobs, go on and talk to people the task was given to ask if the crew showed through to time, stuck on the estimates and completed high-quality work. 6. Try To Find Specialists For Your Particular Job(s) If you're getting your bathroom remodeled, you don't genuinely wish to work with a landscaper to do it. Employ a professional who specializes in the precise job you're looking to have performed. 7. Ask Different Contractors For Estimates While you seek out your ideal contractor, request rough estimates. While they won't quote you exact figures, you'll get a good thought of what you're in for. 8. Get All The Information Hammered In An Agreement After you've hired your team, before they begin work, have all the details of the task spelled out inside a written and legally binding contract. 9. Check If They Guarantee Their Work Before you sign around the dotted line, ask them to include info about what kind of guarantee they provide for the work they're likely to do. Be sure it covers every one of the specifics that pertain to your needs. 10. Know What's Expected Of You A construction team might need to function in and around the home when it's empty, for example, or they can expect one to have furniture moved away from certain rooms before they arrive. Enquire about these little things, to avoid future surprises and also to understand precisely what your team will take good care of. The team you hire to mend or modify your home ought to be top-notch in a number of ways. You would like to trust their ability to do a high-quality job and you need to know you're getting involved with the correct sorts of people. These 10 tips will allow you to hire the best contractor to the jobs you might have waiting.
