workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

General Contractor Services Malibu - How to Avoid Construction Contractor Scams Construction contractors are a dime a dozen and may create your life so much easier if you want work done on your own home or you're seeking to develop a new residence. Naturally, with a lot of options may come a lot of scam artists looking to help you part with your hard earned dollars. After all, how will you really trust someone you've never worked with? The genuine catch here is that you can't! The only method you could make certain you won't get scammed is always to do your homework and prevent the signs of a gimmick a contractor may exhibit. We've taken the time to compile some of the most common ways that homeowners have gotten scammed in the past with hopes that you won't improve the numbers! 1. It is recommended to become the anyone to approach a construction contractor and never the opposite. Some so-called contractors make an effort to scam homeowners by going door-to-door in hopes of locating a new victim. Never work with a contractor that performs this, and most importantly, don't let yourself get pressured into setting up a quick decision. Not forgetting, most scam artists only accepts upfront cash payments, which is much more reason to protect yourself from them! 2. It's your task to determine if the contractor under consideration has something to hide. You can take the first step by asking him for a few references that one could contact yourself. It's important that you know the work habits of your construction contractor, so take the time to visit job sites to get a sense of his work ethics. Remember, an honest contractor with nothing to hide will have no problems coming up with references or allowing you to take a look at one among his many job sites. 3. Be sure the contractor carries a physical office plus a contact address in the area. In the event the contractor has no office and all you can use for contact purposes is really a P.O. box, it can be a sign of someone seeking to scam you. Choosing someone local doesn't just mean you are going to spend less money, but that you can get in contact with the contractor directly. 4. Get familiar with the rules for licensing contractors in your town. All states have different sets of rules, but if a contractor you're hoping to work alongside has no insurance and isn't licensed where you live, never under any circumstances hire them. It may make the search a little harder, however it can keep you from getting scammed from the beginning. By no means is it easy to find a truthful construction contractor in every area. Sure, a straightforward search on Google will yield lots of contributes to your city, however it doesn't always mean each of the contractors may have your very best interests at heart. At the end of the time, you need to be the smart one and figure out in case the contractor is telling the reality and whether or not you can trust them.
