Are you looking for a contractor with quality
workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

This isn't easy, since the situation can easily become a little more complicated than you anticipated. The next 10 tips can help you make your right decisions: 1. Search For Locals Whenever you can look for a local contractor who has been around business for a long time, do so. Someone using a local history and reputation is easier to research and far prone to be 100% reliable. 2. Make Sure They're Licensed And Insured Don't take someone's word for doing it: Look into their paperwork yourself and if you hire them, make copies in their important documents. Should anything happen during construction, you're going to need to protect yourself along with your property. 3. Don't Hire People You're Not Comfortable Around Because you'll work so closely with all the team, perhaps even for the extended time period, you want to successfully and your loved ones members feel safe around them. Believe in instincts, and the good reputation you've investigated prior to the job even starts. 4. Ask To View Previous Work It's always smart to inspect the prior work of the construction professional, to ensure you approve in the quality and it's stood the exam of your energy. 5. Ask To Talk With Previous Clients While you're looking into past jobs, go ahead and talk to those the job was given to find out if the crew showed up on time, stuck towards the estimates and completed high-quality work. 6. Try To Find Specialists To Your Particular Job(s) If you're having your bathroom remodeled, you don't genuinely wish to hire a landscaper to accomplish it. Hire a professional who is an expert in the precise job you're looking to have done. 7. Ask Different Contractors For Estimates When you seek out your ideal contractor, require rough estimates. Though they won't quote you exact figures, you'll get a better idea of what you're set for. 8. Get All The Information Hammered Out In A Legal Contract After you've hired your team, just before they start work, have the details of the job spelled out in a written and legally binding contract. 9. Find Out If They Guarantee Their Work Prior to signing on the dotted line, make them include info on what type of guarantee they supply for your work they're going to do. Make sure it covers each of the specifics that pertain to your situation. 10. Know What's Expected Individuals A construction team might need to work in and around the home when it's empty, for example, or they might expect you to definitely have furniture moved out from certain rooms before they arrive. Find out about these small things, in order to avoid future surprises and also to understand precisely what your team is going to take good care of. The group you hire to fix or modify your own home should be top-notch in several ways. You want to trust their ability to do a high-quality job and you should know you're getting associated with the best forms of people. These 10 tips will allow you to hire the ideal contractor for that jobs you have waiting.
