Are you looking for a contractor with quality
workmanship and dependability?

These values are so hard to find these days. I will personally, as the owner, see your project to its finality. I strive to be a contractor that pays attention to the needs and wishes of the client. We work hard to make your build experience as pleasant as possible.

Here at KMS, we aim to please! I have over 30 years of experience and 8 years in business. I have built buildings as big as 15,000 sq. ft. and as small as knocking out a couple of walls to enlarge a bathroom. I take every job with the same importance, no matter how big or small.

I specialize in framing, concrete custom tile jobs, decks, patio covers, fences, re-models and room additions. I have been framing for over 30 years. I am on site, usually with my bags on, every step of the framing process. We also specialize in building custom stairs, from free standing radius to straight runs.

Room Remodel Camarillo - Contractor Hiring Tips: 10 Strategies To Do The Job When you really need a contractor, you want to ensure you hire the most effective person or team for the task. This isn't always easy, because the situation can easily become more complicated than you ever anticipated. The subsequent 10 tips can help you create the right decisions: 1. Look For Locals Whenever you can locate a local contractor who has been around business for a few years, do it. Someone using a local history and reputation is a lot easier to investigate and far more likely to be 100% reliable. 2. Make Sure They're Licensed And Insured Don't simply take someone's word because of it: Have a look at their paperwork yourself and when you hire them, make copies in their important documents. Should anything happen during construction, you're gonna need to protect yourself and your property. 3. Don't Hire People You're Not Comfortable Around Because you'll work so closely with the team, maybe even to have an extended period of time, you want to successfully and your loved ones members feel comfortable around them. Believe in instincts, and the good reputation you've investigated prior to the job even starts. 4. Ask To Find Out Previous Work It's always a good idea to inspect the prior work of any construction professional, to make sure you approve in the quality and it's stood the exam of your energy. 5. Ask To Talk With Previous Clients While you're looking into past jobs, just talk to individuals the job was offered to ask if the crew showed through to time, stuck towards the estimates and completed high-quality work. 6. Seek Out Specialists For Your Personal Particular Job(s) If you're obtaining your bathroom remodeled, you don't genuinely wish to work with a landscaper to accomplish it. Employ a professional who specializes in the actual job you're looking to did. 7. Ask Different Contractors For Estimates When you hunt for your ideal contractor, require rough estimates. Though they won't quote you exact figures, you'll get a good thought of what you're set for. 8. Get Every Piece Of Information Hammered Out In A Binding Agreement After you've hired your team, but before they begin work, have the specifics of the work explained in a written and legally binding contract. 9. Determine If They Guarantee Their Work Before signing around the dotted line, make them include specifics of what kind of guarantee they provide to the work they're planning to do. Be sure it covers each of the specifics that affect your situation. 10. Know What's Expected Individuals A construction team might need to work in and around the home when it's empty, for example, or they might expect one to have furniture moved out of certain rooms before they arrive. Inquire about these little things, to avoid future surprises and to understand everything that your team is going to take care of. The group you hire to fix or modify your home should be top-notch in many ways. You wish to trust their ability to perform a high-quality job and you must know you're getting included in the proper types of people. These 10 tips will allow you to hire the ideal contractor for the jobs you possess waiting.
